Garcinia Cambogia – Any Side Effects
Garcinia Cambogia or tamarind as the locals call it is a fruit which is seen in places like Australia and some parts of Asia. This particular fruit is gaining popularity mainly because of its effectiveness in weight loss or weight reduction. The Hydroxycitric acid or commonly known as HCA is the active compound that is naturally produced by the fruit. The HCA is known to inhibit the ATP which in turn synthesizes the fatty acids, triglycerides and cholesterol. The HCA inhibits the ATP which would not have the capability to create fats therefore; the fats would be excreted faster and will not be absorbed by the body. Aside from the natural production of the HCA, the fruit also encourages the production of serotonin which is also known to reduce the effects of depression, insomnia and migraine.
With the growing popularity of the Garcinia Cambogia and its benefits in the area of weight loss, there had been a lot of studies with the fruit, every day there are more and more medical professionals that support the idea and provide their own studies to contribute to proving that the supplement is both potent and safe for consumption. One of the known tests for the benefits of Garcinia Cambogia is the testing of the HCA compound that was taken from the rind of the juliechenfruit. The test involves an 8-week period and consists of a total of 60 participants that had volunteered to take part. In the study, the 60 participants were provided with a 2000 k-cal of diet on a daily basis and they have also been subjected to a 30 minutes of walking exercise, the participants where then tested for the levels of BMI, lipid profiles, level of serotonin and serum leptin, then they were given a dose of the placebo containing the HCA which came from the Garcinia Cambogia, the dose contains 2800 mg of HCA and they were divided into 3 doses, taken approximately an hour before every meal to ensure the potency of the supplement.
After taking the placebo, the volunteers were then checked to see if there are any changes with the BMI, lipid profiles or level of serotonin. Over the course of the Tropical fruit Mangosteen isolated on white backgroundstudy, it has been proven that the supplement has lowered the level of the LDL or bad cholesterol in the body, it also indicates lower triglycerides as well as serum leptin, aside from this, there is also a significant increase in the level of the HDL or the good cholesterol in the body along with the increase the level of serotonin.
Along with the results, the studies has also shown that the Garcinia Cambogia there are no significant effects of the supplement primarily because it came from natural sources and was not synthetically produced. However, different body conditions can also aggravate the effects and with it some people may feel a drop in the sugar level or they may experience colds.
